Stookey - Glen

Glen D. Stookey, 76, of Milford, a former Crawfordsville resident, died Sunday in Goshen General Hospital at Goshen. He had been ill six months. He was retired as an electrician for Northern Indiana Public Service Co. Mr. Stookey was a member of Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star at Milford and Scottish Rite of South Bend. He was born near Syracuse on April 12, 1900, a son of Simon and Clara Gilbert Stookey. Surviving are his wife, Edith; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Hammond of Speedway; and a grandson. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Mishler Funeral Home at Milford with the Rev. James A. Freerksen officiating. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. – jlr
